Due to complexities in the survey data format, Appending survey files to existing data is not currently supported. This option will probably be supported in future releases of CavePlot.
To append one survey file onto another, save BOTH surveys as CavePlot-Text formatted files by using the Export File option in the Other Menu. Next, start up a text editing program. Load both text files and copy+paste them together. Save the resulting text (make sure you save the file in TEXT format) and quit the text editor. You should now be able to open the combined survey file into CavePlot using the Import option. To do so, choose Import File from the Other Menu. Open the file as CavePlot-Text (the same format you exported).
